Today, a revelation: first, that I could spend an entire afternoon in front of a computer screen, reading; second, that said reading would be a web log; third, that said web log would contain some of the best writing I’ve come across online. Michael McGrorty’s Library Dust has much to recommend it, not the least being his spare, lovely phrasing, tact, and revelatory fearlessness. Altogether, a wonderful, half-miraculous find.
